Under Medicare, you are entitled to 10 claimable sessions per calendar year.

The average rebate amount under Medicare is $84.80. This rebate may also be used for couples sessions.

A GP referral is required. See your own GP or one of our GPs to arrange a referral (also known as a Mental Health Care Plan).

GROUP WORKSHOPS

Individual and couples sessions are available in person or via Skype. Group workshop rates and topics vary depending on the group’s specific needs (e.g. mindfulness, resiliency, and so on).

The Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommended fee is $241 for 60 minutes (not including GST).

 

Payment & Reimbursement

Payments can be made via Cash, EFTPOS or Credit/Debit Card. Payment can either be accepted at front desk, through our booking system, or we can send you an invoice with all the details you require.

After your appointment, you will be invoiced the full session amount. If you are claiming a rebate, we will simultaneously process your rebate electronically. Your rebate will be deposited directly into your bank account, typically within 24 hours.

Changes & Cancellations

It’s easy to cancel or change the date and time of your session without a fee as long as you do so 48 hours before the scheduled session. We have a strict 48 hour cancellation policy which supports us in letting our clients know when appointments have become available. With enough notice, those who are in need of an appointment can book into an available session.


If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointments, please phone the practice to inform us at least 48 hours prior, otherwise the full fee will be charged. We do not accept cancellations via email.
